Dial "M" For Monkey

     Dexter, in his quest for science, maintained a laboratory that was developed for all types of research. After months of testing on a simple monkey, Dexter concluded that the experiment would become nothing more. Little did the boy genius know that his monkey was really "Monkey," the super powered primate of Earth. Yielding mysterious powers, Monkey has the ability to fly, super strength, and laser shooting abilities, among other strengths.

     With his powers, Monkey works for a secret global mission rescue agency to protect the world from the danger of large monsters, natural disasters, and intergalactic villains. Led by the Commissioner, Monkey is often paired with secret Agent Honeydew on missions around the world to stop evil in its tracks.

     Despite saving the world more than Dexter, Monkey keeps his day job as a lab testing animal, until psychically contacted by Honeydew to fly into action. The world won't rest until its safe. Monkey won't rest until he's had a banana.

     Dial "M" for Monkey aired as a segment in Dexter's Laboratory episodes for the first two seasons. By the third season, Monkey's appearances were made into small cameos in Dexter plots.
