Evil Con Carne, a cartoon created by Maxwell Atoms, first began packaged with another cartoon, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Collectively they were known as Grim and Evil, the winner of the 2000 Big Pick on Cartoon Network. Grim and Evil premiered in 2001. In 2003, Cartoon Network decided the series would be better by separating the shows. While "Grim" would continue, "Evil" would end. The remaining season of un-aired cartoons and season one cartoons were made into their own show titled "Evil Con Carne".

    The story of Evil Con Carne follows the tragic tale of an ex-playboy, Hector Con Carne. In an explosion set by his enemies, Hector almost faced a certain death. Luckily, thanks to his assistant Major Dr. Ghastly, "parts" of Hector were salvaged and able to live. By attaching his brain and stomach to a dimwitted ex-circus bear (Boskov) he was able to live again. Albeit he does seem to struggle with Boskov's own desires, such as honey, sleeping, and being lazy. Since Hector's demise, he has assembled an army and several allies, such as the grumpy Commander Skarr, to take over the world.

     Despite Major Dr. Ghastly's many attempts to find Con Carne, a new body, he always seems to end back with Boskov. Her many inventions often add complications rather than help taking over the world. With enemies such as Cod Commander and and more, taking over the world can always be put off until tomorrow.

    Evil Con Carne aired for one season as a stand-alone show.
